Microsoft has provided a free PST repair program called as Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst) as a solution to restore corrupt PST file. • Offitems.log corruption: Sometimes, when you start Outlook, you might receive an error as
"Invalid Page Fault in Module OLE32.DLL File"
If this kind of error occurs, either the Office item log file Offitems.log is damaged or Outlook account is corrupted. In this scenario, you cannot send or access the emails over Outlook.
  • Improper Closing of Outlook application: If the Outlook is not properly closed when you are last logged-in, then there is a possibility of getting the following error when you open the Outlook
"Outlook is not responding. If you are using an exchange server e-mail account, you can cancel pending server request by clicking the notification area, and then click cancel server request on the shortcut menu"
